Established in 2001 to address issues of nursing manpower in Florida. Collects supply data via inclusion of workforce survey items in the online license renewal process for LPNs, RNs, and ARNPs. Analysis is completed on a biennial basis to correspond with Florida license renewal. All LPN, ADN, and BSN/higher education programs (300 +/-) are surveyed on an annual basis. A nurse employer survey for demand information is conducted on a biennial basis. Included are hospitals, psychiatric hospitals, hospices, home health agencies, skilled nursing facilities, and public health departments. Data collection is limited to nursing positions.
