Stephen Holloway, MPH

Steve Holloway, MPH, is Branch Chief of the Health Access Branch and Director of the Primary Care Office at the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. The branch hosts work emphasizing the needs of medically underserved populations and acts through workforce analysis, access to care policy development, health systems data, and practice incentives such as loan repayment. Steve serves on several boards and commissions, which address the needs of the medically underserved including the Colorado Primary Care Payment Reform Collaborative, the Colorado Health Extension Service Steering Committee, and the Sewall Child Development Center where he is Chairman. Steve is a member of the Institutional Review Board for Human Subjects Research at the Department of Health and Environment and was appointed in 2010 by the US Secretary of Health and Human Services to serve on a Negotiated Rule Making Committee chartered under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.
