Various healthcare stakeholders, including policymakers, researchers, and professional organizations rely on accurate state-level health workforce data to enhance access to care and improve health outcomes. However, states vary in how they collect this data and prioritize workforce issues. This project will utilize surveys and interviews with key informants from organizations that currently collect or use state-level health workforce data to better understand how state health workforce data is being used and what information is still needed.
