It is the mission of the Health Professions Resource Center (HPRC) to be the primary source of health workforce information in the State of Texas. HPRC collects, analyzes, and disseminates data concerning the supply trends, geographic distribution, and demographics of health care professionals; studies health care workforce issues; and designates health care delivery sites where mid-level providers can practice limited prescriptive authority.

The Texas Center for Nursing Workforce Studies (TCNWS) serves as a resource for data and research on the nursing workforce in Texas.
