This webinar presents results from a national study examining turnover among rehabilitation therapy staff—physical therapists, occupational therapists and assistants, and speech-language pathologists—working in skilled nursing facilities (SNFs) from July 2020 to September 2023. Using CMS administrative data, we describe therapy staff turnover trends, identify facility characteristics linked to higher turnover, and assess how turnover affects key rehabilitation-related patient outcomes.
