The Massachusetts Health Care Workforce Center collects, analyzes, and disseminates data regarding the supply, geographic distribution, and workforce characteristics of health care professionals practicing in the state. The mission of the Center is to improve access to health care in the state by supporting policymaking and programs which assure optimal supply and distribution of health care providers. The Center is currently collecting data on the following health professions: dentists, dental hygienists, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, pharmacists, physician assistants, and physicians.
