This article explores the extent to which the Core Competencies on Disability for Health Care Education are addressed in medical education programs and the facilitators and barriers to expanding curricular integration.
This article examines providers’ observations of inequitable care delivery towards COVID-19 positive patients who are Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) and/or have disabilities, and identifies ways the health workforce may be contributing to inequitable care.
This webinar presents findings from a study that explores how medical education programs address these core competencies. Facilitators and barriers to integrating disability competency training in medical education are discussed, as well as recommendations for changes.
